Purpose

The Regional Director, Africa holds the senior leadership position accountable for expanding Women for Women International’s revenue streams, fostering strategic partnerships, and strengthening the organization’s impact across the African continent. The Regional Director, Africa is tasked with spearheading regional revenue growth while providing strategic leadership to Country Directors. In this role, the incumbent will foster cross-country collaboration, enhance planning and performance discipline, and proactively identify and address both opportunities and risks in close alignment with Programs, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Communications.

This position will champion Africa’s interests on the Global Revenue Team and other pertinent global forums, acting as WWI’s key external representative for fostering regional partnerships and advancing market development across the continent.

Develop and nurture robust partnerships with philanthropic organizations, corporations, institutions, and diaspora communities across Africa to establish WWI as a trusted and influential regional ally.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties essential to the role, including but not limited to strategic planning, team leadership, and project management. Analyze operational processes to identify inefficiencies and implement data-driven solutions to enhance productivity and performance.
