The Deputy Principal & Campus Administrator will act as the Principal’s delegate, ensuring strong leadership and governance of the institution while managing the daily academic, administrative, and operational activities of the designated campus. This position is responsible for guaranteeing the seamless execution of academic programs, supervising staff, enhancing student support services, maintaining operational excellence, ensuring adherence to institutional and regulatory standards, and advancing the Institute’s strategic goals.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align objectives and streamline workflows for optimal efficiency. Monitor progress through regular assessments and provide actionable feedback to enhance performance. Maintain meticulous records, prepare comprehensive reports, and uphold compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Facilitate communication between stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and support strategic decision-making processes.
Exercise strategic oversight and assume responsibility for the seamless management of daily academic, administrative, and operational functions at the designated campus.
The position involves facilitating the execution of the Institute’s strategic plan, policies, quality standards, and institutional objectives. Additionally, it encompasses the supervision of academic programs, student affairs, and learner support services to uphold quality training and foster a positive student experience.
Foster a culture of professionalism, self-discipline, and outstanding customer service to ensure an exceptional student experience throughout the campus.
Provide leadership and direction to departmental heads, trainers, and support staff to maintain high standards of service delivery and drive operational efficiency.
Facilitate the expansion of student enrollment by implementing strategic marketing campaigns, fostering collaborative partnerships, and driving community engagement initiatives across the campus catchment area.
Oversee the effective use, upkeep, and safeguarding of training facilities, educational resources, and institutional property to maintain optimal functionality and security standards.
Coordinate adherence to VET regulatory standards and institutional quality assurance frameworks, with a focus on Quality management system standards (ISO 9001:2015).
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required for consideration. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the capacity to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Prior experience in a similar role within the industry is preferred, along with familiarity with industry-specific tools and software. The ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail is critical. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements is also necessary.
A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, education, or a closely related field is required for this position.
With a minimum of five years of demonstrated expertise in academic administration, hospitality training, or institutional management, the ideal candidate will bring a wealth of relevant experience to the role.
Accomplishes goals through effective leadership, clear communication, and meticulous organization, demonstrating a capacity to guide teams, articulate visions, and streamline processes with precision and efficiency.
Demonstrates strong competence in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems as well as advanced administrative software and tools.
Proficiency in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (VET) or Hospitality Education is highly desirable.
