Merchant & Third-Party Oversight: Monitor merchant and third-party agent activities through comprehensive reviews of transactions, operational processes, web platforms, product offerings, and service delivery to verify adherence to scheme regulations and applicable legal standards.
The role involves overseeing merchant screening and payment intelligence alerts to proactively identify potential risks. Additionally, you will assist in fraud investigations, escalate suspicious activities, and advise on strategies to minimize fraud, chargebacks, and operational risks while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Ensure the integrity and precision of data entered into acquisition systems, meticulously maintaining records and generating reports on suspicious activities and the results of investigations.
Dedicated to fostering productive partnerships, this role involves liaising with internal stakeholders and external industry organizations to secure essential data, deliver expert advice on fraud mitigation and chargeback processes, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry reporting mandates.
Requirements
A minimum of six years in a related role, coupled with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results, is essential. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, supplemented by specialized certifications or advanced training where applicable. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to excel in this position, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Prior experience managing complex projects, implementing innovative solutions, and adhering to strict deadlines is highly preferred. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is mandatory, ensuring seamless execution of responsibilities.
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Criminology, Business, or an equivalent discipline is required.
With a minimum of two to three years of experience in fraud monitoring, risk management, or banking operations, candidates should possess a proven track record in the field.
Proficient understanding of payment system regulations and expertise in anti-money laundering (AML) compliance measures is required.
