Job Description:

Ensure routine and preventive maintenance tasks are executed and overseen for all machinery.

Proactively identify and resolve equipment malfunctions through systematic troubleshooting and diagnostics, while simultaneously coordinating necessary repair efforts to minimize downtime and restore optimal functionality.

Maintain precise documentation of all maintenance tasks completed and equipment functionality.

Enforce and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Ensure that work areas, common spaces, and shared equipment are regularly tidied and sanitized to support health and safety standards. Adhere to established cleaning protocols to minimize clutter and promote a productive workspace for all employees.

Organize and lead routine safety meetings and instructional sessions specifically for machine operators.

Promptly investigate accidents or incidents, analyze findings, and prepare comprehensive reports while implementing effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills by engaging in clear, concise, and professional communication with colleagues, managers, and cross-functional teams.

Compile and communicate production metrics, equipment status, and any identified issues to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.

Partner with team members to enhance plant operations, driving improvements in both efficiency and effectiveness.

Direct and oversee a team of technicians, providing leadership, guidance, and training to ensure optimal performance and professional development.

Drive the team toward fulfilling production goals and objectives, providing encouragement and assistance as needed.

Examine and enhance current operational procedures to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.

Design and deploy advanced process control systems to ensure operational efficiency and consistency. Establish robust frameworks to monitor, regulate, and optimize industrial processes, maintaining adherence to stringent quality and performance standards.

Data analysis and reporting involve leveraging data to inform decision-making and drive process improvements.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with three years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is required, along with experience with software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team are essential. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure are also necessary. Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are a must.

Holds a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experienced engineers with a background in industrial environments are required for this role.
