Install, configure, commission, and maintain microwave radios, LTE/GSM equipment, and additional telecom infrastructure at tower and rooftop sites.
Perform Physical Acceptance Tests (PAT) and conduct thorough quality inspections of newly installed equipment and infrastructure at designated sites to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on telecommunications equipment to sustain optimal network performance and service reliability.
Perform diagnostics and replace malfunctioning radio, transmission, and power equipment on tower and rooftop installations as needed.
Conduct network optimization efforts such as executing drive tests, analyzing signal data, diagnosing faults, and implementing performance enhancement initiatives.
Responsible for the upkeep and operational support of critical electrical power infrastructure, including rectifiers, battery units, diesel engine generators (DEG), power distribution networks, grounding systems, and site-level electrical protection mechanisms.
Ensure site electrical installations adhere to established electrical engineering standards and safety protocols through thorough monitoring and inspection.
Perform routine inspections and upkeep on tower and rooftop infrastructure, ensuring thorough assessment of structural integrity, rust mitigation, and grounding system functionality.
Perform comprehensive on-site evaluations, execute detailed technical analyses, and undertake thorough feasibility examinations to support network expansion initiatives and infrastructure enhancement projects.
Assist in the execution of network upgrades, modernization initiatives, and the deployment of new technologies.
Compile maintenance reports, incident reports, acceptance documentation, and operational records with precision and punctuality.
Offer day-to-day oversight, technical guidance, mentorship, and task delegation to the reporting technician, fostering streamlined field operations and adherence to established standards.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with at least three years of professional experience in a related role. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in key technical skills, such as data analysis, project management, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are essential to succeed in this position. Additionally, familiarity with regulatory compliance standards and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are highly desirable.
Hold a Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
We require a minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in telecom field operations, radio systems, or network maintenance.
Proficiency in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of microwave radio systems, as well as LTE/GSM equipment, is required.
Vendor certifications in related fields would be considered advantageous.
A solid foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including AC/DC power systems, rectifiers, generators, batteries, grounding techniques, and electrical safety protocols, is required.
A valid Fall Arrest Certification that does not expire within the next year is required.
Holds valid certification or completed training in RF Awareness, HSE standards, and DISH regulations.
Must demonstrate full physical and medical capability to perform duties at elevated heights and in field environments.
