Key duties associated with this position encompass the following:

Delivering up to ten (10) lessons weekly within their designated subject area forms a core responsibility of this role.

Collaborate with the Principal to establish and communicate a dynamic short- and long-term vision that will shape the school’s culture and enhance its academic programs.

Establish and exemplify a uniform standard of excellence, enthusiasm, and a developmental approach to learning.

Facilitate essential ceremonies as required to exemplify and solidify organizational culture.

Identify and address classroom and school culture or behavior issues in a timely manner to foster an environment conducive to effective instruction and learning.

Conduct educational workshops and training sessions tailored to parents and other external stakeholders.

Maintain regular communication with the Teacher Lesson Design team to gather and address teachers’ feedback regarding lesson plans.

Collaborate closely with the Operations Associate to ensure the availability of all required learning materials and teaching resources.

Under the guidance and mentorship of the Dean of Instruction and Learning,

Act as the primary decision-maker responsible for overseeing and finalizing the recruitment process for instructional staff positions.

Through comprehensive classroom observations, targeted feedback sessions, and structured school walkthroughs, coaches provide educators with actionable guidance and support to enhance instructional practices and student outcomes.

Oversee the implementation and execution of professional development initiatives and activities throughout the school.

Collaborate with educators across grade levels and subject areas to foster a cohesive teaching environment.

Professionals in this role will gather, evaluate, interpret, and disseminate both internal and external school assessment data, with a strong emphasis on leveraging these insights strategically to enhance student academic outcomes.

Experienced professionals in this role will be responsible for directing the development, implementation, and evaluation of intervention programs designed to address the unique academic requirements of various student subgroups, including those needing remedial support and those seeking enrichment opportunities.

Collaborate effectively with the Dean of Instruction and the Learning & Senior Resident Teachers to design and deliver professional development sessions that are both well-organized and highly engaging.

Collaborate closely with the Dean of Instruction and Learning to coordinate and schedule academic school events within the institutional calendar and timetable framework.

ABOUT YOU

Required skills and qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics, along with at least three years of hands-on experience in software development or a closely related discipline. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ is essential, as is familiarity with frameworks such as Django, Spring, or .NET. Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively are also necessary. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and exhibit a commitment to continuous learning in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

You are required to hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and possess valid TSC certification.

A master’s degree in education or education management is strongly preferred.

With a minimum of three years of experience in a demanding and high-performance academic environment, you have held a key instructional leadership position, such as a department chair, grade-level lead, or teacher coach.
