THE ROLE

The position is recognized internally and externally under various titles, including Lead Technical Architect (LTA), Solution Architect, or Principal Technical Consultant.

This senior position will lead a Teens project team, tasked with defining and conveying the comprehensive architectural and non-functional solution design.

This position works in conjunction with the Lead Business Architect (LBA) and can begin during the pre-contract scoping phase, extending through implementation as a dedicated role on a single large-scale project—or as needed, overseeing multiple smaller initiatives.

The incumbent acts as the primary liaison between the project team and the client, proactively coordinating efforts to ensure complete client satisfaction across all technical dimensions of the project scope.

This role will involve addressing intricate challenges while guiding technical teams through issue resolution, offering constructive challenges to colleagues and clients as necessary, and showcasing a track record of effective stakeholder management across all interactions.

A candidate must possess comprehensive expertise in at least one specific product domain, coupled with the capacity to articulate insights across additional areas. Furthermore, they should demonstrate an equivalent depth of understanding regarding industry dynamics, market trends, and consumer behaviors.

A substantial leadership contribution to their designated Center of Excellence, along with valuable input on product and process enhancements, is required.

Serve as the primary escalation point for various projects, analyzing client concerns as needed, proposing solutions, and, when appropriate, advocating for necessary interventions.

You will conduct thorough assessments of technical risks, develop comprehensive mitigation strategies, and present actionable recommendations to address potential vulnerabilities.

You will deliver specialized guidance to clients, advising on the most effective deployment of Teens products within their infrastructure to ensure the achievement of critical non-functional requirements, including online and end-of-day performance, system availability, disaster recovery, and the corresponding testing methodologies.

You will advocate for Teens within the project or program’s Design Authority, highlighting the advantages of a solution grounded in established Reference Architectures, the Core Product, and the Model Bank, while ensuring alignment with the mutually agreed governing principles established between Teens and the Client for the project.

You will serve as an intermediary between the project team and the Development Teams, as well as the Technology Product Group, ensuring alignment on Reference Architecture and Sizing details.

You will support the Project Manager in mitigating scope creep, ensuring consistent design and delivery of solutions, and fostering transparency throughout the entire solution design process.

You will facilitate the comprehension and adherence of the Technical Consulting and architectural components of the Teens Implementation Methodology (TIM) among clients and project team members. Additionally, you will support the Project Manager in negotiating and securing approval for any tailored technical or architectural deviations from TIM—such as client-specific methodologies or naming conventions—and ensure these adjustments are clearly communicated to the project team.

You will oversee the review and implementation of technical System Amendment Requests (SAR’s), ensuring smooth processing of all changes, including Level 1 Developments.

You will collaborate with the Client, project team members, and Regional and Local development teams (L2 & L3) to design and implement a resilient and effective architecture that delivers measurable customer value and business advantage.

You will be responsible for championing best practices in methodology and maximizing component reuse across the entire Teens ecosystem.

You will provide mentorship and guidance to fellow Technical Consultants, fostering their professional development and enhancing their performance through structured coaching sessions.

You will deliver expert counsel and strategic direction to the Client regarding environmental management and release governance across multiple pre-production environments.

You will secure client approval for the proposed technical solutions, encompassing comprehensive end-to-end process overviews.

You will be responsible for developing comprehensive Solution Design Documents for designated technical areas as outlined in each work package.

You will develop tailored technical solutions to address customization and configuration requirements for TEENS products, adhering to predefined technical specifications.

You will be responsible for overseeing the thorough completion of TABS data collection during the Technical Process Analysis stage of the project.

You will provide essential support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) whenever continuity considerations arise throughout project lifecycles.

You will collaborate closely with the TEENS maintenance teams to verify that all identified product issues are thoroughly understood and effectively resolved.

As The Solution Architect, you will function as a recognized thought leader, collaborating closely with clients and colleagues on the project team while also serving as a respected authority among your peers throughout Teens.

The Lead Technical Architect is required to demonstrate deep expertise in at least two of the following specialized technical domains:

You will demonstrate expertise in resolving complex tasks and technical challenges across diverse areas while showcasing a strong command of the tools, systems, and processes essential to the role.

You will oversee the deployment of tailored enhancements, provide final approval on technical configurations, and perform essential testing to confirm user acceptance and the global reliability of the delivered solution.

You will provide supervision, as necessary, for particular technical aspects of the implementation plan.
