Our Kenya Business is actively seeking a Parts Field Sales Advisor to integrate into our Nairobi-based team, reporting directly to the After Sales Manager.

In this position you will

Develops effective professional relationships among colleagues by fostering transparent and consistent communication.

Collaborate with Service Technicians to accurately assess and fulfill parts requirements.

Builds and nurtures productive working relationships with both vendors and internal staff members.

When special order parts become available, the incumbent will promptly notify customers to inform them of the arrival.

The role ensures the Technician receives required parts promptly, minimizing delays; where appropriate, parts are pre-selected in advance, such as for customer-arranged recall services or scheduled maintenance appointments.

Employ innovative retail strategies to merchandise and showcase parts and accessories effectively.

Collaborates with the Service Department, Sales Department, Body Shop, and other relevant teams to ensure timely fulfillment of parts requests.

Discovers and facilitates enhancements to methods and processes within the Parts Department to drive operational excellence.

Leverage parts resources, including catalogues, to gather data on parts and accessories availability and inventory levels.

Ensures meticulous management of parts inventory to enhance operational efficiency and prevent any potential delays in customer service.

Leverages available inventory allowances to ensure minimal idle or obsolete stock levels.

Responsible for organizing and managing a meticulous filing system to ensure all documentation related to repair orders, special orders, and back orders is properly maintained and easily accessible.

We manage incoming customer inquiries regarding parts, ensuring prompt responses and following up to facilitate sales.

Special order placement and subsequent follow-up for sales are central responsibilities of this role, ensuring timely processing and customer satisfaction throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Skilled in identifying opportunities to recommend and sell additional parts to customers during service interactions.

Actively engaging in promotional initiatives developed by the company.

About You

To excel in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

Holders of a bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline are required.

With a proven track record in parts sales spanning a minimum of two years, you bring demonstrated expertise and a history of achieving notable sales outcomes.

Customer service training will be viewed favorably during the evaluation process.

Demonstrates a steadfast commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships through attentive service and proactive problem-solving.

Possession of a valid driver’s license is a prerequisite for this position.

A critical requirement for this position is a high degree of precision and meticulous attention to detail.

The candidate must demonstrate strong time management skills, consistently meeting established deadlines while maintaining high-quality output. They should be capable of working independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
