ABOUT THE ROLE

You will craft and deliver a cutting-edge 21st Century learning experience for our students, fostering an enriching and transformative educational environment. You will also:

Create an environment that ensures the safety and security of children, fostering a sense of comfort and well-being.

Each day, design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for the children, aligning with the established curriculum, schemes of work, and lesson plans to ensure consistent and effective learning outcomes.

Developing, evaluating, and revising schemes of work and lesson plans to ensure alignment with the school curriculum, in collaboration with the Curriculum Development Manager.

Assessments are developed for designated subject areas or topics upon request or as needed.

Deliver diverse materials and resources that enable children to engage, interact, and utilize them across learning exercises as well as during imaginative play sessions.

Responsibilities include guiding students in the proper use and maintenance of equipment and materials, ensuring a safe environment by minimizing risks of injury and damage.

Organize and facilitate activities that foster physical, cognitive, and social growth, including games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling.

Prepare indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as classrooms and materials, to ensure a secure and engaging environment that promotes creative play, learning experiences, and the development of motor skills.

Monitor and assess each child’s development, compiling detailed written evaluations to share with the Principal, school leadership, and parents.

Maintain accurate documentation and comprehensive reports to systematically monitor and track the children’s developmental milestones and progress.

Deliver tailored instruction to students both individually and in collaborative settings while customizing teaching approaches to accommodate diverse learning preferences and academic interests.

Greet each child upon arrival, assist them in removing their outerwear, and engage them in activities that align with their interests to facilitate a smooth transition into the school environment.

Develop and implement regulations governing conduct, alongside policies and procedures, to ensure a structured and orderly environment for students.

Plan and oversee class projects, field trips, guest lectures, and other hands-on learning experiences, ensuring students derive meaningful educational value from each endeavor.

Professional development is maintained and enhanced by participating in meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops as a regular part of the role.

Provide support for the boarding and disembarking of passengers from the bus.

Perform additional responsibilities as directed by your Manager at their discretion.

ABOUT YOU

Required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with experience with frameworks like Django, Spring Boot, or .NET. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment are also required. Familiarity with database management systems, version control tools, and agile methodologies is highly preferred.

You possess a valid TSC certificate, demonstrating your qualification and compliance with the necessary professional standards.

Hold a degree in Education or a closely related discipline.

With a minimum of three years of hands-on teaching experience, you bring a solid foundation of instructional expertise to the role.

You possess strong proficiency in utilizing essential technological tools, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

You possess strong communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey information clearly and effectively through both written and verbal channels.

You demonstrate strong adaptability, embracing change with ease and navigating uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity effectively.
