POSITION SUMMARY:

The Data Analyst Team Lead, who reports to the Senior Manager of Data Products, will spearhead the creation and delivery of data-as-a-product solutions tailored to market needs. This role demands a robust comprehension of the data requirements across producers, market partners, and consumers, along with the capacity to transform these insights into well-defined, prioritized data solutions supported by a structured delivery roadmap. Additionally, you will develop a forward-thinking strategy to convert these solutions into actionable insights that generate measurable benefits for both producer partners and the environment. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing the deployment of data products to ensure they meet performance standards and deliver maximum value.

You will collaborate with the Senior Manager of Data Products to jointly develop the data delivery roadmap, prioritize team tasks, and mentor colleagues to enhance their skills and expertise.

Approximately half of your responsibilities will involve leadership of the team and strategic initiatives, while the remaining half will focus on practical, operational project execution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Oversee a team comprising 3-4 data analysts, ensuring their performance aligns with organizational objectives and project deadlines.

To facilitate proactive engagement, seek early involvement in initiatives that incorporate data elements, thereby enabling thorough consideration of all relevant data requirements.

Professionals are expected to maintain current knowledge of emerging data reporting technologies and tools to ensure optimal performance and innovation in their roles.

Gathering data reporting requirements from external clients and prospective customers.

Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to extract and convey actionable insights from data, enabling informed decision-making and strategic initiatives across the organization.

Collaborate effectively with Product Managers to incorporate all data-related requirements into tooling specifications.

Collaborate effectively with the data engineering team to synchronize roadmaps, address dependencies, and recommend optimal data engineering solutions.

Enhance reporting functionalities for both analytics teams on an ongoing basis.

Tasked with deploying dashboards across the organization and facilitating project-related rollouts in collaboration with the Implementation team.

Facilitating collaboration with internal stakeholders throughout the implementation of customer initiatives.

Periodically engage with field colleagues and stakeholders involved in data collection to assess potential biases and reporting risks, then provide them with actionable reports to help them recognize and mitigate these issues.

Design and implement a structured framework for systematically collecting regional intelligence, then incorporate this data into internal reports to support strategies that originate from the field.

Seeking innovative approaches to thoughtfully and efficiently integrate data, thereby optimizing user engagement and enhancing usability.

WHAT YOU BRING:

A bachelor’s degree is required, with demonstrated proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and/or data analysis.

Experienced professional with seven years of expertise in data reporting and analysis.

With a minimum of one year of leadership experience or its equivalent in coaching, mentoring, and training junior staff, candidates should demonstrate a proven track record in personnel development and team oversight.

Analyze root causes of issues and take initiative to address them through teamwork and coordinated efforts.

Proficient in end-to-end development and utilization of data visualization platforms, including Power BI and Tableau.

Proficient command of the English language is essential.
