"Pioneering medical education since 2010."
North Coast Medical Training College was founded in 2010 and received approval from the Clinical Officers’ Council in early 2012. The inaugural cohort for the Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery commenced in September 2012. In 2013, the college expanded its programs to include Nutrition and Dietetics, Community Development in Health, and Nursing.
Situated in Romani, Kimball Division, Vilify County—midway between Mombasa and Vilify town—the college conducts theoretical and clinical skills training at its Kimball campus.
The institution offers a conducive learning environment with well-equipped facilities, including spacious classrooms, a library-computer laboratory, and a Skill slab. While accommodation is optional, it is available for students. Vilify District Hospital serves as the primary site for clinical attachments, complemented by additional placements in private, mission, and public medical centers and hospitals.
