As a Senior Sales Advisor, you will oversee customer-facing teams and spearhead efforts to secure business within the rotating equipment service sector. Your role involves crafting a strategic vision for a key market at the product line level, adopting a long-term outlook while leading the business development planning initiatives for this market.

As a Senior Sales Advisor, your primary responsibilities will include driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, and providing expert product knowledge to both prospects and existing customers. You will also be tasked with developing and executing strategic sales plans, analyzing market trends to refine approaches, and mentoring junior team members to enhance overall team performance. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless sales execution and contribute to the achievement of annual sales targets.

Within a designated geographic region, specifically Sub-Sahara Africa, you will be responsible for promoting and providing products, services, parts, solutions, or projects to meet client needs and drive sales growth.

You will manage products and systems that demand advanced technical expertise and a thorough grasp of their operational environments. Proficiency in rotating machinery—including compressors and turbines—is a key prerequisite for this role.

Performing comprehensive technical evaluations and customizing sales methodologies to align with client-specific requirements.

Overseeing intricate sales cycles that engage numerous internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination and progress.

Evaluating proposals alongside the commercial team involves thorough analysis of technical feasibility, economic viability, logistical feasibility, and financial implications.

Overseeing key client relationships within the business unit is a primary responsibility, ensuring their needs are met with precision and professionalism.

The role involves managing and/or directing commercial and application teams while fostering collaboration with key departments, including engineering, legal, risk, and finance.

Successful candidates for this position will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

Fluency in English and Portuguese is essential, with proficiency in French considered an asset.

Obtain a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.

With a minimum of five years of proven experience in Sales, candidates should demonstrate a strong track record in the field.

Possesses excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

You must exhibit exceptional interpersonal abilities and strong leadership qualities.

Proven expertise in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions is required.

Demonstrated excellence in directing and executing programs and projects is essential.

You must possess the ability to document, strategize, promote, and implement programs effectively.

Able to accommodate travel commitments amounting to roughly half of the work schedule.

Work in a manner that aligns with your preferred approach and schedule.
