About the role

The Finance Business Partner delivers performance improvements through strategic insight, rigorous analysis, and data-driven decision-making. By collaborating closely with commercial and cross-functional leadership, the position plays a key role in developing plans and forecasts, assessing investment opportunities, and fostering sustainable, profitable growth.

Oversee and execute critical duties, including but not limited to strategic planning, team leadership, and operational oversight, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline workflows and enhance productivity, while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project completion, foster innovation, and address challenges proactively. Monitor performance metrics to identify trends, assess progress, and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a primary liaison between departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and seamless collaboration.

Serve as a reliable financial advisor to commercial and cross-functional leaders, offering strategic insights, constructive critiques, and data-driven recommendations to foster sustainable, profitable expansion.

Own financial performance management for assigned brands and channels, providing concise analysis of actuals, potential risks and opportunities, and future outlook.

Partner with Sales to develop and execute strategic planning, establish targets, and conduct forecasting activities, including Latest Estimates, while maintaining clear assumptions and adhering to a consistent update schedule.

Oversee and manage trade investments and commercial expenditures in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment and accountability; establish governance frameworks and conduct thorough post-evaluation assessments.

Partner with marketing and trade marketing teams to assess A&P investments by analyzing ROI and effectiveness metrics, ensuring program outcomes are optimized.

Develop comprehensive business cases and profit-and-loss statements for initiatives focused on innovation, portfolio optimization, and revenue management, facilitating informed go/no-go assessments and rigorous benefits tracking.

Collaborate with the supply chain team to oversee product and logistics expenditures, track cost of goods sold (COGS), and uncover opportunities for improved efficiency and expense reduction.

Prepare management reports and conduct variance analyses compared to the plan and budget; collaborate on period-end close processes with key finance partners.

Provide assistance with ad hoc analysis and projects as requested by regional and commercial stakeholders.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or engineering, or equivalent professional experience. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities. Experience with software development, system design, or data analysis is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively in a team are required. Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, or agile methodologies is a plus.

Essential

A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline is required.

Seeking candidates with five to seven years of experience in finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or finance business partnering, preferably within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or comparable complex sectors.

Experienced in financial technical expertise encompassing accounting standards, performance management, forecasting, ROI evaluation, and strategic analysis.

A strategic and analytical problem-solver, adept at offering constructive challenges, distilling complexity into clear insights, and engaging senior stakeholders with precision and impact.

With a proven track record in intricate, matrix-driven, and international settings, you demonstrate adaptability, initiative, and self-sufficiency, thriving in dynamic, high-pressure environments.

Proficiency in auditing, financial control, statutory accounting, and commercial expenditure management is advantageous.
