Job Summary:
The Forklift Operator is tasked with operating forklifts safely and efficiently to facilitate material movements for inbound, outbound, and production processes. Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections of forklifts and ensure the forklift maintenance and inspection records are accurately updated.
Responsible for operating forklifts in strict adherence to established site safety protocols and assigned operational requirements.
Maintain forklifts in a clean condition, ensuring they remain free from oil leaks consistently.
Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are checked for accuracy and integrity, and promptly notify management of any discrepancies or damage observed.
Maintain consistent dialogue with supervisors and operators to ensure efficient material handling throughout the transfer process.
Load and unload goods and materials in assigned zones, such as production facilities and storage warehouses, as directed.
Transport materials to the production team in accordance with the directives provided by the Production Supervisor or Production Manager.
