Job Purpose

The Executive Assistant serves as a strategic and operational cornerstone, ensuring flawless execution of executive functions to bolster efficiency and productivity within the Managing Director’s office. This role delivers essential support in administrative oversight, stakeholder liaison, and the secure management of confidential information. Furthermore, the position encompasses rigorous data analysis, comprehensive reporting, and the generation of strategic business insights that underpin revenue growth and informed operational decision-making. Acting as a key advisor to the MD, the Executive Assistant will spearhead business initiatives, refine workflows, and maintain the seamless execution of critical executive responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals, managing cross-functional teams to drive project completion, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance productivity. Provide high-level executive support by efficiently managing the Managing Director’s schedule, handling correspondence, organizing meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and facilitating both internal and external communications. Proactively oversee the daily administrative functions within the MD’s office to maintain seamless operations and support strategic objectives.

Strategic Research & Business Insights: Perform in-depth market and industry analysis, compile performance reports, and deliver actionable business insights to inform key decisions. This role involves evaluating operational data to detect emerging trends, assess potential risks, and uncover opportunities for sustainable business expansion.

Revenue Growth & Business Development: Monitor revenue trends, identify potential business development opportunities, and facilitate the implementation of strategic growth initiatives. The role involves partnering with leadership to refine cost structures and improve overall financial performance.

Maintain stringent confidentiality standards and adherence to company policies when handling sensitive information. Serve as the primary gatekeeper for the Managing Director’s office, overseeing access to confidential business documents with the utmost discretion.

Facilitation of Interdepartmental Collaboration: Ensure the smooth implementation of MD directives through the coordination of cross-functional initiatives. Engage with senior leadership to maintain alignment between business objectives and operational execution.

The incumbent will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and refining reports, presentations, and other essential documents for the Managing Director (MD), alongside developing concise briefing materials. Additionally, they will ensure the MD remains fully apprised of pivotal business developments, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic alignment.

Board & Executive-Level Reporting: Responsible for the planning and execution of board meetings, encompassing the development of agendas, documentation of minutes, and tracking of follow-up tasks. This role also involves delivering precise, prompt reporting on business performance metrics to both the Managing Director and the board.

Provide financial oversight and budgeting support by collaborating with finance teams to manage budgeting, track expenses, and prepare financial reports specifically for the Managing Director’s office. This role requires close coordination to uphold financial discipline and ensure accuracy in executive-level financial operations.

Project management and business transformation responsibilities include overseeing specialized projects and strategic initiatives, guaranteeing their timely completion and alignment with organizational objectives. Additionally, candidates will contribute to business transformation by enhancing workflow efficiency and optimizing executive-level operations.

Qualifications & Skills

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or an equivalent discipline is required.

A minimum of five years of professional experience in an Executive Assistant, Business Analyst, or an equivalent capacity is required.

Proven expertise in data analysis, reporting, and presentation, supported by a track record of delivering clear, insightful, and actionable results.

Proficient in utilizing the MS Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and advanced reporting tools, is essential.

Demonstrates a thorough grasp of business operations, revenue enhancement tactics, and evolving market dynamics.

Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced corporate settings, adapting seamlessly to dynamic workloads and evolving priorities while maintaining high performance standards.
