Process accounting transactions using the supporting documentation provided via established workflows.
Ensure financial documents are booked accurately and promptly.

Collaborate with finance team members in various Country Offices to address processing discrepancies and maintain prompt resolution of pending matters.
Conduct account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial records, identifying and resolving discrepancies between internal and external accounts.
Ensure electronic accounting records are maintained with accuracy and proper organization to uphold documentation standards.
Adapt seamlessly to a dynamic operational landscape by incorporating evolving processes and responsibilities as new activities are systematically integrated into the Hub.
Assist in upholding adherence to established internal controls, documented procedures, and mandated audit requirements.
Contribute to the seamless operation of the Hub by fostering collaborative efforts and proactively identifying avenues for enhancement.
Your profile
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
A candidate who has achieved the status of a CPA (K) Finalist, possessing a minimum of three years of progressively advancing professional experience.
Preferred candidates will have prior experience with an international NGO and a solid grasp of international donor regulations.
Audit experience would be considered a beneficial qualification.
Proficient in accounting functions such as maintaining general ledgers, preparing journal entries, managing accounts payable, and reconciling balance sheets.
Proficient in leveraging advanced functionalities of Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
