As Sous Chef, you will serve as the primary driving force within our kitchens throughout Nairobi, reporting directly to the Head Chef. Ensure unwavering food quality and consistency by establishing and maintaining presentation and taste standards across all branch locations, delivering the same exceptional experience with every service encounter.

Oversee cost and waste management by meticulously controlling food expenses, minimizing wastage, and ensuring proper stock rotation practices are maintained.

You oversee all kitchen operations, managing prep schedules and duty rosters while coordinating supplies and maintaining inventory.

Provide guidance and support to kitchen personnel by fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth. Conduct consistent one-on-one meetings to assess progress and address any challenges, cultivating a team dynamic rooted in accountability and excellence.

You must maintain strict adherence to hygiene and compliance protocols, which are absolute priorities. This includes enforcing food safety standards, ensuring proper equipment handling, and guaranteeing the team is prepared for emergencies at all times.

Ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction is a top priority, requiring active monitoring of feedback to identify and resolve issues promptly while guaranteeing each guest departs with a positive experience.
