Our Kenya-based business is actively seeking a Parts Field Sales Advisor to strengthen our team in Nairobi, where this role will report directly to the After Sales Manager.
In this position you will
Develops strong, collaborative working relationships with colleagues by fostering clear and effective communication channels.
Collaborate with Service Technicians to accurately assess and fulfill parts requirements.
Cultivates constructive partnerships with both vendors and team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
When special order parts become available, the incumbent notifies customers promptly to facilitate their purchases.
Delivers required components to the Technician promptly, employing parts pre-picking strategies where viable—such as for customer arrivals involving recall parts or pre-scheduled service intervals—to minimize any delay.
Employ retail strategies to showcase and sell parts and accessories effectively.
Works collaboratively with the Service Department, Sales Department, Body Shop, and other relevant teams to ensure timely fulfillment of parts requests.
Evaluates and champions initiatives aimed at enhancing methods and processes within the Parts Department to drive operational improvements.
Leverage parts resources, including catalogues, to gather comprehensive information regarding parts and accessories inventory.
Ensures meticulous oversight of parts inventory to enhance operational efficiency and prevent any interruptions in customer service.
Leverages available inventory allowances to minimize the presence of idle and obsolete stock, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
Maintains an organized filing system for all documentation related to repair orders, special orders, and back orders.
We handle incoming customer inquiries regarding parts, address their questions, and ensure timely follow-ups to facilitate sales.
Special orders are processed and diligently tracked to ensure timely fulfillment and sales completion.
Skilled in identifying opportunities to recommend and sell additional parts to customers during service interactions.
Engage proactively in any promotional initiatives organized by the company to enhance brand visibility and drive engagement.
About You
For this position, candidates must demonstrate the requisite qualifications and competencies to excel, including:
A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline is required.
With at least two years of hands-on experience in parts sales, you have established a proven track record of success in this field.
Customer service training would be considered a valuable asset.
Demonstrates a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction, prioritizing their needs and expectations in all interactions. Requires an unwavering dedication to understanding and addressing customer concerns promptly and effectively.
Holds a current, unrestricted driving license in good standing.
