Key duties associated with this position encompass the following:
Delivering up to ten lessons per week within their designated area of expertise.
Collaborate closely with the Principal to define and communicate a dynamic short- and long-term vision that drives the evolution of the school’s culture and academic initiatives.
Establish and exemplify a consistently high standard of expectations, enthusiasm, and a growth-oriented mindset toward learning.
Facilitate essential rituals as required to demonstrate and reinforce organizational culture.
To proactively address and resolve classroom or school-wide cultural and behavioral challenges, ensuring optimal conditions for instruction and learning.
Conduct educational workshops and training sessions for parents as well as other external stakeholders.
Consistently maintain communication with the Teacher Lesson Design team to gather and relay educators’ feedback regarding lesson plans.
Collaborate closely with the Operations Associate to ensure the availability of necessary learning materials and teaching resources.
Under the guidance and mentorship of the Dean of Instruction and Learning, the incumbent will receive structured support and opportunities for professional growth.
Act as the primary hiring authority for instructional staff recruitments.
Through comprehensive classroom observations, targeted feedback sessions, and structured walkthroughs, you will coach teachers to enhance their instructional practices and drive student achievement.
Oversee the implementation of professional development initiatives and activities throughout the entire school community.
Promote collaborative efforts among educators across grade levels and subject areas to enhance instructional alignment and shared best practices.
Collect, interpret, and disseminate internal and external school assessment data while leveraging these insights to drive strategic improvements in student academic achievement.
Responsible for directing the development, implementation, and evaluation of intervention programs tailored to address the unique needs of various academic subgroups, including both remedial and enrichment initiatives.
Collaborate effectively with the Dean of Instruction and Learning, as well as Senior Resident Teachers, to design and deliver structured, dynamic professional development sessions.
Collaborate with the Dean of Instruction and Learning to coordinate scheduling and planning of academic school events.
ABOUT YOU
Required qualifications and skills include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or mathematics, along with at least three years of hands-on experience in a similar role. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ is essential, as is familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team are also necessary. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate experience with data analysis, cloud computing platforms, and DevOps practices. A keen attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning are highly valued attributes.
You possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and hold TSC certification.
A master’s degree in education or education management is preferred.
Possessing a minimum of three years of experience within a demanding and high-performance academic environment, you have fulfilled at least one leadership position in instruction—such as serving as a department chair, grade-level lead, or teacher coach.
