We are seeking a professional who will be responsible for executing a range of key duties, including overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, ensuring compliance with company policies, and driving project execution. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals, analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. Additionally, they will be tasked with fostering a positive work environment, mentoring junior staff, and representing the company in external engagements as needed. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a results-driven mindset are essential for success in this role.

Reconcile inventory costs and monitor stock movements, including the tracking of units and valuation, to ensure accurate financial records and operational efficiency.

Examine inventory aging to pinpoint stock with low turnover and determine necessary provisions.

Conduct stock count activities and document discrepancies as needed.

Reconcile goods in transit (GIT) by managing transfers across branches, warehouses, and suspense accounts to ensure accurate tracking and documentation.

We reconcile the general ledger (GL) inventory accounts with the corresponding submodule records to ensure accuracy.

Compile monthly reports that document all changes in fixed assets.

Prepare comprehensive reports detailing the fluctuations in capital expenditure (Capex) as well as the changes in property, plant, and equipment (PPE) portfolios.

Oversee capital expenditure initiatives, encompassing the acquisition and disposal of assets.

Perform scheduled fixed asset counts and verification procedures, with a particular focus on coolers.

Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and periodic updates of the fixed asset register.

Reconcile the general ledger (GL) balances for fixed assets with the corresponding submodule records to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.

High school diploma or GED equivalent required. A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is required. Must demonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. Familiarity with basic accounting principles is a plus. Valid driver’s license may be required depending on position.

A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline is required for this position.

Obtaining a recognized professional accounting credential, such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ARCA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, is essential for this role.

Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications, coupled with hands-on experience in financial operations within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) setting.

Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is required, with previous experience serving as a significant benefit.
