Requirements include:
A Bachelor’s degree in Education (Arts) with a specialization in French is required for this position.
With a minimum of five years of teaching experience in an accredited educational institution.
TSC registration requires candidates to meet specific eligibility criteria, including holding a recognized teaching qualification and demonstrating proficiency in both English and Swahili. Applicants must ensure all documents are duly certified and submitted within the stipulated deadlines to avoid disqualification. Upon successful registration, teachers are expected to adhere to the professional standards set by the Teachers Service Commission, maintaining continuous professional development and ethical conduct. Registered educators gain access to various benefits, such as secure employment opportunities, pension schemes, and career progression pathways. Additionally, compliance with periodic performance appraisals and mandatory training sessions is compulsory to retain active status in the register.
While prior experience in instructing Creative Arts would be beneficial, it is not a mandatory requirement.
