Proven is seeking a dynamic, goal-oriented, and proactive Sales & Business Development Executive to drive expansion across Kenya and the broader region.

This position focuses on lead generation, sales closure, client relationship management, outreach execution, and corporate account expansion. The preferred candidate must cultivate and sustain a robust sales pipeline through the identification of significant business opportunities and prospects. Their primary objective will be to consistently achieve and surpass predetermined Monthly and Annual Targets while driving revenue growth.

Oversee and execute a diverse range of tasks encompassing project management, team leadership, and strategic planning to ensure operational efficiency and organizational goals are met. Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance productivity, compliance, and quality standards across departments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation, streamline workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor performance metrics, evaluate outcomes, and provide data-driven insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making processes. Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, and employee engagement through coaching, mentoring, and recognition programs. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and internal controls while maintaining a focus on risk management and sustainability.

Develop and sustain a robust sales pipeline while fostering enduring connections with prospects to drive future opportunities.

Explore untapped markets and develop innovative strategies to drive revenue growth through the identification of new business prospects.

Craft and execute strategic sales initiatives designed to meet and exceed established corporate sales objectives.

Negotiate terms within contract proposals and sales agreements for clients and business partners to finalize mutually beneficial terms.

Develop and nurture ongoing partnerships with current clients to uphold satisfaction and ensure their continued engagement with the organization.

Evaluate opportunities and guide prospects through every stage of the sales process.

Conduct thorough research to identify and pursue prospective clients that align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Conduct outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn/social media outreach and other prospecting activities.

Proactively identify and initiate meetings by leveraging outreach initiatives and strategic networking efforts.

Engage in the preparation and submission of bids and tenders to secure new business opportunities for the organization.

Deliver engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients to effectively showcase features and benefits.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline or an equivalent level of professional experience is required.

Over two years of professional experience in corporate sales is required for this role.

Achieved a consistent track record in successfully finalizing sales transactions.

Achieved consistent success by surpassing predetermined sales quotas and demonstrating a strong ability to exceed performance expectations.

Proactive and driven, this individual demonstrates a strong ability to take initiative and maintain momentum without external direction. They exhibit a natural inclination toward independent problem-solving and consistently strive to exceed expectations in their work.
