Your responsibilities
Lead and oversee sales operations for the MI and NI portfolios in East Africa, with a primary emphasis on the Tanzanian market.
Acquire comprehensive insights into customer strategies, market trends, and digital infrastructure priorities across East Africa.
Examine and cultivate prospects by harmonizing Nokia offerings with the unique business and technological obstacles faced by clients.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives for accounts with the objective of driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
Forge and nurture enduring, trust-centered partnerships with key stakeholders at senior levels spanning technical, operational, and commercial domains.
Own and maintain the sales pipeline with meticulous attention to detail, guaranteeing both precision and consistency in the utilization of CRM systems.
Orchestrate intricate sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, guiding opportunities from initial identification through to successful negotiation and final contract execution.
Partner with international and regional colleagues to devise innovative sales strategies and craft compelling proposals that secure deals.
Coordinate pre-sales activities, solution development, and partner ecosystem collaborations to design and deliver customized, value-driven solutions that align with client needs and market demands.
Collaborate effectively with delivery and operations teams to maintain alignment on execution strategies, risk management, and customer satisfaction metrics.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, or a closely related discipline is required.
With a minimum of ten years of expertise in account management and solution sales within the telecommunications and/or information technology sectors, candidates are expected to demonstrate a proven track record in these domains.
Proficient in Mobile Networks, Digital Infrastructure, and automation technologies, with demonstrated expertise in these domains.
Proficiency in both mobile and fixed network environments, with a keen focus on emerging markets, is essential.
Consistently surpasses or meets sales targets, as evidenced by a robust performance history.
Proficiency in selling software solutions and related services within the telecommunications or IT sector is strongly preferred.
Seasoned professionals with a track record of overseeing partners and ecosystems within extensive transformation initiatives are preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, such as Salesforce, as well as advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Fluent English proficiency is required, with proficiency in an additional regional language considered a valuable asset.
