The People and Culture Intern will deliver essential administrative, operational, and coordination support to the People and Culture Department. This position involves contributing to employee records management, recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, leave administration, internal communications, training coordination, Foundation activities, staff engagement initiatives, and general HR functions.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties and responsibilities, ensuring efficient execution of all assigned tasks. Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to optimize performance while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and achieve organizational objectives. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Ensure the integrity and organization of employee records, personnel files, and HR databases through regular maintenance and updates, thereby guaranteeing precise and up-to-date documentation.
Offer comprehensive administrative assistance throughout recruitment initiatives by managing interview schedules, facilitating effective candidate communication, and overseeing onboarding and induction procedures.
Oversee the administration of leave, attendance, and employee records systems, maintaining timely updates and ensuring accurate reporting.
Prepare, circulate, and manage internal HR communications, notices, and employee correspondence to ensure clarity and consistency across all organizational communications.
Develop and oversee employee training initiatives, managing all aspects such as program scheduling, logistical arrangements, attendance monitoring, and comprehensive record-keeping.
Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives related to the Foundation, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and community engagement programs.
Compile, organize, and ensure the accuracy of HR reports, trackers, databases, and other essential departmental records while keeping them current and meticulously maintained.
Facilitate the planning and execution of initiatives focused on employee well-being, including staff engagement events, hospital visits, bereavement support, and employee recognition programs.
Organize meetings, prepare necessary documentation, document minutes, and deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the Human Resources Department.
Execute a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to facilitate the seamless provision of HR services and contribute to the successful attainment of departmental goals.
Additional duties as may be assigned by the manager or senior leadership from time to time.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics, coupled with at least three years of hands-on experience in software development or a related technical discipline. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++, along with a strong understanding of algorithms and data structures. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and experience with agile development methodologies are also essential. Additionally, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are required.
A bachelor’s degree, diploma, or higher diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Public Relations, or a related discipline is required.
