We are seeking a highly skilled Red Seal Plumbing Specialist to join an ambitious high-rise accommodation project in Nairobi, Kenya. This position encompasses the installation, rigorous testing, commissioning, and meticulous quality control of diverse plumbing systems, including domestic water, drainage, firefighting, irrigation, swimming pools, and specialized installations.
Key Duties Encompass
Overseeing strategic project execution to ensure alignment with organizational goals, managing cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency, and implementing performance metrics to evaluate progress. Conducting comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential challenges and developing mitigation strategies to safeguard project timelines and budgets. Leading stakeholder engagement initiatives to foster collaboration, ensuring clear communication channels are maintained throughout all phases of development.
Review and analyze architectural, structural, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings to extract and understand key design elements, specifications, and technical details.
Responsibilities include installing comprehensive hot and cold water supply systems, as well as drainage, soil, waste, and vent systems to ensure proper plumbing infrastructure.
Install sanitary fixtures, pumps, tanks, filtration systems, and booster systems as part of the installation process.
Perform underground drainage systems and execute specialized plumbing installations with precision and expertise.
A highly skilled professional will be responsible for the installation of irrigation systems, wet risers, sprinkler systems, jacuzzis, and pool piping.
Perform pressure testing, drainage assessments, and system commissioning to ensure operational integrity and compliance with established standards.
Ensure adherence to all applicable British Standards, local regulatory requirements, and OSHA safety regulations.
Requirements
Seeking a highly skilled professional holding a Red Seal Plumbing Certification to join our team. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues, installing and maintaining systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and building codes. Experience in both residential and commercial settings is required, along with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. The role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, providing accurate estimates, and ensuring timely project completion. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
With a minimum of five years dedicated to high-rise or commercial construction projects, candidates must demonstrate substantial hands-on experience in the field.
