This position encompasses the installation, rigorous testing, commissioning, and meticulous quality assurance of diverse plumbing systems, including domestic water, drainage, firefighting, irrigation, swimming pool, and specialized installations.
Oversee critical operational tasks, ensuring all processes align with organizational objectives and compliance standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency across departments. Collaborate closely with leadership teams to assess performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to policies and mitigate potential risks. Professionally interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to extract critical design and construction details, ensuring accurate comprehension of specifications, dimensions, and system layouts.
Installs systems for hot and cold water supplies, as well as drainage, soil, waste, and vent networks.
Responsibilities include installing sanitary fixtures, pumps, tanks, filtration units, and booster systems. This role requires expertise in assembling and positioning these components to ensure proper functionality and compliance with plumbing standards. The incumbent must adhere to installation blueprints, safety protocols, and project timelines.
Perform underground drainage systems installation and complex plumbing tasks with expertise.
Proficiently installs irrigation systems, wet risers, sprinkler systems, jacuzzi plumbing, and pool piping networks.
Perform pressure testing, drainage testing, and system commissioning to ensure operational integrity and functionality of installed systems.
Maintain adherence to British Standards, relevant local regulations, and OSHA safety requirements.
Requirements
Certified journey person plumber holding a Red Seal endorsement, dedicated to delivering expert plumbing solutions in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage networks, and gas piping. Skilled in interpreting blueprints, adhering to building codes, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Capable of installing fixtures, appliances, and specialized equipment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a commitment to upholding industry standards and best practices.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of five years of hands-on involvement in high-rise or commercial construction projects.
Proven expertise in the coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, with specialized proficiency in plumbing system design and implementation. Demonstrates in-depth understanding of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices to ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency within construction projects.
Preferred candidates will have prior experience in firefighting operations and with specialized water systems.
International project experience is desirable, though projects undertaken in a global context can offer distinctive insights.
