We are seeking a highly motivated professional to fulfill key operational and strategic duties within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing critical processes, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with company objectives. Track inventory valuation and monitor stock movements, encompassing both physical quantities and monetary values.

Conduct a thorough analysis of inventory aging to pinpoint items with sluggish turnover, and evaluate the necessary provisions to address potential stock inefficiencies.

Conduct stock counts and document discrepancies as required.

Reconcile goods in transit (GIT), encompassing transfers between branches, warehouses, and suspense accounts, to ensure accurate tracking and accountability of inventory movements.

Reconcile the general ledger (GL) inventory accounts with the corresponding subledger records to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.

Compile monthly reports that document fixed asset transactions.

Prepare detailed reports summarizing capital expenditure (Capex) and property, plant, and equipment (PPE) movements.

Oversee capital expenditure initiatives, encompassing the acquisition and disposal of assets.

Perform scheduled inventories and verifications of fixed assets, specifically coolers, to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Responsible for the ongoing management and accurate documentation of the fixed asset register, ensuring all entries remain current and compliant with established accounting standards. Duties include regularly verifying asset details, making necessary adjustments, and promptly recording any changes such as acquisitions, disposals, or depreciation updates.

Reconcile the balances in the General Ledger for fixed assets with the corresponding records in the submodule to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, along with three or more years of hands-on experience in the industry. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards is required, as is the capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is also expected.

A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline is required for this role.

Professional accounting credentials such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ARCA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are required.

Experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office applications and possess practical knowledge of financial operations within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is required, with prior experience serving as a significant advantage.
