The Supply Chain Intern will collaborate extensively with supply chain team members, assisting in multiple functions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations.

Oversee a comprehensive range of tasks and obligations encompassing the core functions of the role, including the execution of key responsibilities that contribute to organizational objectives. Accountable for performing essential duties that align with strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless operational workflows and adherence to established protocols. Responsible for managing critical assignments that support team goals, while fostering collaboration and maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy in all undertakings.

Support the procurement process by identifying potential suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotes, and preparing and distributing purchase orders.

Perform inventory management tasks, such as tracking stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment, and validating inventory accuracy.

Help analyze demand forecasts and inventory levels to enhance inventory replenishment strategies and reduce the likelihood of stock-outs.

Partner with logistics providers to guarantee the punctual arrival of goods and materials, fulfilling both production schedules and customer expectations.

Provide support in overseeing and documenting shipment movements, updating progress records, and addressing any logistical challenges or delays that may arise.

Support the maintenance of precise records and documentation pertaining to procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations.

Collaborate on supply chain enhancement initiatives to optimize processes and boost operational efficiency.

Facilitate data analysis and reporting initiatives to generate actionable insights into supply chain efficiency and highlight opportunities for enhancement.

Assist with executing assessments of suppliers and analyzing their performance to verify adherence to quality benchmarks and contractual service level agreements.

Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the supply chain team by performing data entry tasks, organizing and maintaining files, and managing documentation.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a related role. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools are essential. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are required to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Candidates must demonstrate problem-solving capabilities and a keen attention to detail. Familiarity with industry-specific software or platforms is preferred.

Candidates must possess a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Warehousing, or Logistics.
