Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics. At least three years of professional experience in a related technical role is required, along with proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential. Familiarity with software development best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is also necessary. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are expected to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Holders of a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) or a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Animal Health are eligible for consideration.
Registration with the Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB) is a mandatory requirement for professional practice as a veterinarian in Kenya.
With a minimum of two years of pertinent professional experience in the field, candidates should bring a solid background to the role.
