Key Accountabilities: As a member of the team, you will be entrusted with delivering core operational tasks, including but not limited to managing client accounts, executing project timelines, and maintaining compliance with established protocols. Additionally, you will be expected to analyze data to generate actionable insights, collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline workflows, and ensure seamless communication between stakeholders. You will also be responsible for monitoring performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.

Facilitate and lead workshops focused on curriculum development, engaging founders, advisors, faculty, and key stakeholders throughout the process.

To conceptualize and implement 2-3 short courses for imminent release, aimed at cultivating an initial audience, validating key program hypotheses, and showcasing tangible progress to collaborators and investors.

Develop a comprehensive curriculum framework and program structure at an advanced level for the institution.

Responsibilities include establishing structured learning pathways, organizing program sequences, designing modules, and defining clear learning outcomes to ensure comprehensive educational development.

Facilitate the incorporation of entrepreneurship, innovation, and professional practice into all academic programs, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives and industry standards.

Provide guidance on instructional methodologies, studio-based educational frameworks, and the design of student-centered learning experiences.

Convert workshop results into well-structured curriculum materials and detailed implementation plans.

Work in close partnership with the operations and leadership teams to plan, coordinate, organize, and execute workshops effectively.

Deliver strategic guidance on the development of academic frameworks, the design of varied assessment methodologies, and the seamless incorporation of interdisciplinary learning initiatives.

Research and adapt leading global and African creative education frameworks to guide and enhance curriculum design and implementation.

Develop and submit deliverables that fulfill project requirements and objectives within specified timelines and quality standards. Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and thoroughly, adhering to established guidelines and stakeholder expectations. Collaborate with team members to gather necessary resources, validate inputs, and address any discrepancies to maintain consistency and reliability in deliverables. Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and potential risks to project leads to facilitate timely adjustments and resolutions.

Led curriculum development workshops and prepared comprehensive summary reports.

Develop a comprehensive and systematically organized curriculum framework and program structure, encompassing detailed content outlines, precise content mapping, and well-defined lesson structures.

Experienced professionals must possess 2–3 concise course outlines that are immediately deliverable, each comprising a program description, intended audience, duration, and clearly defined learning outcomes.

Recommending structured learning pathways and optimal sequencing of modules to enhance educational progression and skill development.

The proposed framework emphasizes innovative teaching strategies and comprehensive evaluation methods to enhance learning outcomes. This approach integrates diverse instructional techniques tailored to meet varied student needs, ensuring an engaging and effective educational experience. Regular assessments are employed to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide timely feedback, fostering continuous development. By aligning pedagogical practices with measurable learning objectives, the framework supports both formative and summative evaluation to drive academic excellence.

Develop a strategic curriculum roadmap and provide actionable recommendations for its implementation.

The finalized comprehensive report consolidates curriculum development efforts, summarizing key outcomes, progress, and results achieved throughout the initiative. This document serves as a definitive reference, outlining the structured approach, methodologies employed, and strategic decisions made to enhance educational frameworks. It encapsulates insights gleaned from stakeholder feedback, data analysis, and alignment with institutional objectives, ensuring clarity and actionable recommendations for future implementation.

The preferred applicant will possess a robust set of qualifications, including a proven track record in project management and a minimum of five years of experience in a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with exceptional communication abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools is required, as is the capacity to lead initiatives from inception to completion while adhering to strict deadlines. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate leadership qualities, adaptability to evolving priorities, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust academic foundation and/or extensive professional experience in education, curriculum development, learning design, or creative education.

Required is a strong track record in designing educational curricula, academic initiatives, or comprehensive learning frameworks.

Extensive experience in leading workshops, co-creation sessions, and collaborative learning activities.

Proficient in creative education methodologies, studio-based learning approaches, interdisciplinary academic frameworks, or innovative educational models.

Effective stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and strong organizational abilities are essential for this role.

Proficiency in arts, culture, fashion, design, or creative sectors is strongly preferred.

A strong familiarity with African creative sectors and cultural frameworks is highly desirable.

Skilled in collaborating effectively within dynamic and rapidly changing settings.

Duration:

The consultancy engagement is anticipated to span a duration of 12 to 16 weeks, organized into two distinct phases. A formal review checkpoint will be implemented between these phases to evaluate progress, ensure alignment with objectives, and determine the continuation of the engagement.

Reporting Line:

The consultant will collaborate extensively with the Arts Education Initiative team while reporting directly to the designated Operations Lead at Pharos Foundation.
