We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position with Job Reference Number JAIL 415. The position is tasked with advancing the retail business’s growth, profitability, and market reach. It manages the creation and implementation of commercial strategies across branch networks, agency channels, alternative channels, partnerships, and digital platforms to ensure sustainable revenue growth and an improved customer experience. Serving as a key leadership role, this position is responsible for broadening distribution capabilities, updating sales and training systems, and cultivating strategic alliances to strengthen the company’s market position.

Holding an advanced degree in a relevant field, you possess the educational foundation and specialized expertise necessary for this role. Your academic credentials demonstrate a deep understanding of key concepts and methodologies pertinent to the position, while your professional qualifications further validate your capability to excel in this capacity.

A master’s degree in finance, business administration, strategy, or a closely related discipline is required.

A bachelor’s degree in finance or a business-related field is required for this position.

Qualified candidates must hold either a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential from Kenya (CPA-K) or an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ARCA) certification, or possess an equivalent qualification in accounting.

A degree or diploma in Insurance, coupled with certifications such as LOMA or CII, along with a TDPK qualification, is required.

With a minimum of ten years of experience in a leadership capacity within the Life Insurance Sales sector, candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of success in driving sales performance and team management.

Have a proven track record of thriving in intricate business landscapes and highly regulated industries, coupled with the necessary personal attributes.

Developing and nurturing robust stakeholder relationships requires cultivating key interpersonal qualities.

Possessing an expert-level understanding of technology, change management, process improvement, and operational management within applicable business contexts is essential.

With a solid background in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial reporting, preferably within the insurance sector.

Seasoned in assembling and leading high-functioning teams, cultivating an environment that thrives on cooperation, and offering strategic direction and developmental support to finance staff.
