Serving as an entry-level professional accounting position, this role requires applying accounting principles to specialized records and reports while supporting the daily maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and producing essential financial reports.

The role encompasses overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, and maintaining high standards of efficiency. Key responsibilities include managing a diverse team, delegating tasks effectively, and fostering a collaborative work environment. The position requires coordinating with cross-functional departments, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to drive productivity. Compiling journal entries and performing necessary adjustments form an essential part of the role.

Initiating routine maintenance of the general ledger files, performing account reconciliations and reviews, and clearing any outstanding items within the ledgers.

Responsibilities include examining expenditures in relation to the allocated budget, performing required reconciliations, conducting thorough investigations, and processing correcting entries as needed.

Assembles and compiles diverse financial forecasts and expense documentation with precision.

The position involves conducting audits of project accounts to ensure adherence to established policies and maintaining communication with relevant stakeholders regarding project statuses.

Assisting in the development and guidance of priesthood leaders as well as junior accountants represents a key responsibility of this role.

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in software development with proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Python, Java, or C++.
* Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with infrastructure as code tools.
* Demonstrated experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
* Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications.
* Experience with database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL, and familiarity with data modeling and optimization techniques.
