Job Summary
Rivet Software & Systems LTD seeks a proactive and dependable Onsite Technician to strengthen our expanding team. The successful applicant will provide onsite technical support, perform system installations and maintenance, conduct troubleshooting, and deliver customer assistance for our software and hardware solutions.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties to ensure efficient operations and organizational success. Lead strategic initiatives, drive project completion, and maintain high performance standards across all assigned tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, streamline processes, and enhance productivity. Analyze data, identify trends, and implement evidence-based solutions to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Develop and mentor team members, providing guidance and resources to maximize their potential and contribute to collective goals. Monitor key performance indicators, report progress, and recommend adjustments to optimize outcomes and mitigate risks. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and operational teams to facilitate transparent communication and alignment with strategic priorities.
Deliver onsite technical assistance, addressing and resolving technical issues as they arise.
Install, deploy, configure, and uphold software and hardware systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Regularly assess and troubleshoot technical issues while implementing necessary updates and patches to maintain security and functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system-related challenges and provide support to end-users as needed.
Provide clients with assistance in system configuration and troubleshooting user-related issues to ensure seamless operation and optimal performance.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues with efficiency and precision, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Perform regular maintenance tasks and system inspections to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Provide user training on system operations as needed to ensure proficient usage and support implementation.
Compose comprehensive technical reports and deliver regular updates to stakeholders.
Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining clear and professional communication with clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Java, or C++
• Strong knowledge of database management and SQL
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team
• Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions
A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
Possesses a foundational knowledge of computer systems, network infrastructure, and software troubleshooting.
Good communication skills and the capacity to interact effectively with others are essential for this role. Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate efficiently in team settings.
Capable of functioning autonomously with minimal oversight while maintaining high productivity and accountability.
Proven aptitude for resolving complex issues efficiently and effectively, demonstrating both analytical and creative thinking to navigate challenges and implement optimal solutions.
Proficiency in technical support or hands-on fieldwork is highly beneficial.
