Position Summary

A highly organized and self-driven Field Sales Representative is required to spearhead product adoption and revenue expansion throughout Kenya. This position entails cultivating robust partnerships with clients, advocating premium offerings to clinics and hospitals, and fostering engagement among dental professionals to elevate sales performance in the dental supplies sector.

Oversee and execute a range of critical responsibilities integral to the role, including strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency and ensure adherence to industry standards. Lead and mentor teams to foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement, while monitoring progress and addressing challenges proactively. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and staff to align business goals with team deliverables, ensuring seamless communication and execution.

Drive sales of an extensive portfolio of dental equipment, instruments, and consumables, targeting dental clinics, hospitals, and healthcare facilities to meet their procurement needs.

Explore and cultivate emerging business prospects by engaging in on-site visits, leveraging professional networks for recommendations, and attending key industry gatherings.

Foster enduring professional connections with dental professionals and essential stakeholders to ensure sustained engagement and collaboration.

Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations and training sessions, ensuring clients comprehend all aspects of usage, advantages, and maintenance.

Monitor competitive activities, pricing structures, and developing trends within the dental supplies industry and provide detailed reports on these observations.

Partner with logistics, technical, and marketing teams to coordinate seamless product deliveries and deliver outstanding client support.

Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by consistently meeting and surpassing established benchmarks.

Responsibilities include meticulously documenting sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends to ensure precise record-keeping.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in the field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and professional training. Proficiency in key industry-standard tools and software, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills are essential. Must demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing projects, meeting deadlines, and collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements is advantageous. Previous experience in a similar role within this sector is preferred.

A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Dentistry, Medical Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is required.

A minimum of three years of demonstrated sales expertise within the dental or medical supplies sector is required.

Desirable candidates will possess a comprehensive understanding of dental equipment and products.

Proven ability to deliver compelling presentations, negotiate effectively, and build strong interpersonal relationships.

Proven expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is required.

Proven ability to undertake extensive travel obligations within the designated geographic area.
