Position Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Field Sales Representative to spearhead product adoption and revenue expansion throughout Kenya. This position entails cultivating robust client relationships, promoting high-end products to clinics and hospitals, and actively engaging dental professionals to enhance sales within the dental supplies sector.
Oversee a diverse range of critical duties to ensure seamless operations across multiple departments. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall performance. Collaborate closely with leadership teams to align organizational goals with actionable plans, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-informed decision-making. Lead cross-functional projects, providing guidance and support to team members while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Serve as a primary liaison between senior management and staff, facilitating clear communication and reinforcing company policies to uphold a cohesive and motivated workforce.
Demonstrate and distribute an extensive selection of dental equipment, instruments, and consumables to dental practices, hospitals, and healthcare organizations.
Proactively cultivate and expand new business prospects by engaging in on-site visits, leveraging professional networks, and participating in key industry gatherings.
Establish and nurture enduring professional connections with dental professionals and pivotal stakeholders to ensure sustained engagement and mutual growth.
Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations and training sessions to ensure clients gain a thorough understanding of proper usage, key advantages, and essential maintenance procedures.
Monitor competitive dynamics within the dental supplies industry by tracking competitor strategies, pricing adjustments, and evolving market trends, then compile and present these findings through detailed reports.
Work closely with logistics, technical, and marketing teams to guarantee punctual deliveries and outstanding client service.
Consistently surpass monthly and quarterly sales objectives by delivering outstanding performance.
Ensure meticulous documentation of sales activities, customer engagements, and market intelligence to uphold data integrity and support informed decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required; minimum 3–5 years of progressive professional experience in digital marketing, brand management, or a closely aligned discipline. Proficiency in Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, and marketing automation platforms essential. Exceptional analytical aptitude, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities; capacity to articulate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences. Demonstrated track record of campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
A degree or diploma in Dentistry, Medical Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is required.
A minimum of three years of demonstrated sales experience within the dental or medical supplies sector is required.
Proficiency in dental equipment and products is strongly preferred.
Proven ability to deliver compelling presentations, engage in effective negotiations, and foster strong interpersonal relationships.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is required.
Demonstrates a readiness to undertake frequent travel throughout the designated region.
