In this role as a Kitchen Operations Associate, you will collaborate with culinary and kitchen leadership teams to oversee the meticulous preparation, packaging, and dispatch of food, ensuring adherence to stringent quality, hygiene, and food safety protocols.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties, including the planning, coordination, and supervision of [specific tasks or projects relevant to the role]. Assist in maintaining seamless kitchen operations to uphold efficient production and service delivery.

Food must be prepared and packaged in strict accordance with established recipes and quality standards to maintain consistency and excellence in every product.

Perform comprehensive quality assessments on all finished products prior to their dispatch to ensure compliance with established standards.

Ensure strict adherence to cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards throughout kitchen operations.

Maintain accurate inventory levels by tracking stock counts, ensuring timely ingredient replenishment, and adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation practices.

Maintain accurate documentation of waste and promptly escalate any operational concerns to the Kitchen Leads for resolution.

Accurate completion of production records and daily checklists is required to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to guarantee timely order fulfillment.

Assist in preserving a tidy, structured, and productive workspace while ensuring adherence to organizational standards.

Proactively recognize operational challenges and elevate concerns without delay to maintain seamless workflows.

Facilitate the training and onboarding process for new team members as necessary.

Requirements

A diploma or degree in Food Production, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business, Operations, or a related discipline is required.

0–2 years of experience in restaurants, hospitality, retail, customer service, manufacturing, or food production is beneficial.

Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and excels in high-pressure environments while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Effective interpersonal communication and collaborative abilities are essential for this role.

Demonstrates exceptional organizational abilities and a proactive approach to assuming responsibility.

Able to accommodate flexible shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays as needed.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets would be advantageous to the role.

Nice to Have

A Food Handler’s Certificate or HACCP certification is required for this position.
