• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; advanced degrees are advantageous.
• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in software development, preferably with expertise in Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is essential.
• Demonstrated experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and scalable system design principles.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects, mentor junior developers, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Strong communication abilities to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required for this position.
A Certified Public Accountant (Kenya), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, or Certified Internal Auditor credential, or an equivalent qualification, is considered advantageous.
A minimum of three years of professional experience in either internal or external audit is required.
Proven ability to analyze data and produce clear, insightful reports with precision and efficiency.
Maintaining high ethical standards and demonstrating meticulous attention to detail are essential for this role.
Proven ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders across various levels to ensure alignment and support for project objectives is essential.
