Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also necessary. Familiarity with software development methodologies and Agile practices is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to convey technical information effectively.

A qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation or Statistics is required for this position.

Minimum of five years of professional experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), including at least three years in a senior or leadership position within the M&E field.

Professional rewrite:
Proven expertise collaborating with non-profit or NGO programs in field-based environments, with a preference for assignments in Kenya.

Achieved demonstrated success in overseeing monitoring and evaluation initiatives, with expertise in developing and enhancing data collection and measurement instruments.

Proficiency in collaborating with program teams to leverage data for purposes such as organizational learning, informed decision-making, program refinement, and donor reporting is required.

A strong command of data analysis tools, including SPSS, STATE, Excel, Power BI, or comparable software, is required.

Professionals should have hands-on experience implementing mobile data collection platforms such as KoboToolbox, OK, Comm Care, or comparable systems.

Proficient in qualitative research methodologies, with a demonstrated ability to conduct insightful interviews, craft compelling narratives, and discern nuanced patterns beyond quantitative data.

Accomplished report writing abilities coupled with superior communication prowess.
