Our client, a premier provider of ICT, ELF (Extra Low Voltage), and integrated technology solutions throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Sales Associate to join their team.

The ideal candidate will spearhead sales expansion, cultivate key client partnerships, uncover new business prospects, and extend the organization’s market presence across regional territories. This position demands an astute, results-driven professional with a track record in selling ICT equipment, technology solutions, networking infrastructure, security systems, data center solutions, or comparable offerings.

The successful candidate should have extensive experience in multiple regional markets outside Kenya and a proven ability to meet sales targets, oversee key accounts, and finalize high-value B2B transactions.

Execute a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Oversee daily workflows, delegate tasks to team members, and monitor progress to maintain productivity and accountability. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance operational excellence and compliance. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization and resource allocation. Lead initiatives that drive growth, cost reduction, and enhanced service delivery while aligning with company-wide strategic goals. Serve as a key liaison between senior leadership and operational teams to facilitate transparent communication and decision-making.

Proactively identify, cultivate, and close new business prospects within Kenya and across key regional markets.

Demonstrate and market ICT equipment, ELF systems, and cutting-edge technology solutions to diverse corporate, government, NGO, educational, and commercial clients.

Formulate and implement strategic sales initiatives designed to drive revenue growth and meet predetermined targets.

Oversee the complete sales process, spanning from initial prospecting through to deal closure and ongoing account management.

Craft proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender responses to meet client and organizational requirements.

Develop and nurture enduring connections with current and potential clients.

Analyze clients’ operational requirements and devise tailored technological solutions to address their strategic objectives.

Execute scheduled on-site client engagements, deliver comprehensive presentations, and facilitate interactive product demonstrations to effectively communicate value propositions and gather feedback.

Deliver exceptional service to maximize customer satisfaction and foster long-term loyalty.

Identify and cultivate business prospects within emerging markets throughout East Africa and additional Sub-Saharan African regions.

Stay abreast of industry developments, track competitor actions, and identify emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive advantage.

Analyze emerging market segments and potential avenues for expansion to enhance business growth.

Develop comprehensive sales forecasts, generate detailed pipeline reports, and compile strategic business development updates.

Deliver comprehensive market intelligence and actionable strategic recommendations to senior leadership to inform decision-making processes and enhance competitive positioning.

Contribute to the creation and execution of sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field required. A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience necessary. Proficiency in software development methodologies, data analysis, or system design essential. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills mandated. Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities demanded. Familiarity with industry-specific tools or technologies advantageous.

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.

A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in business-to-business sales within the ICT, ELF, telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or technology solutions industries is required.

Proven track record in the sale of ICT equipment and technology solutions.

Demonstrated success in managing and navigating regional markets beyond Kenya is required.

A robust knowledge of information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure, networking systems, cybersecurity frameworks, data center solutions, or comparable technological domains is essential.

Proven ability to craft compelling proposals, deliver impactful presentations, and conduct effective negotiations is essential.

Demonstrated expertise in commercial strategy coupled with a proven track record in securing and finalizing high-value agreements.

Demonstrates proficiency in cultivating and sustaining high-level client connections at the executive tier.

Experienced in customer relationship management platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Open to undertaking travel within Kenya and across the region as needed.
