Key accountabilities associated with this position encompass the following:

Develop and implement daily activities for children that align with the established curriculum, work schemes, and lesson plans to support their social, physical, and emotional growth.
Collaborate with the resident teacher to establish a classroom setting that fosters effective learning, aligns with students’ developmental stages and interests, and ensures a structured and engaged learning atmosphere.
Engage fully in all avenues for professional advancement, such as daily team meetings and debriefs, weekly sessions dedicated to professional development, instructional coaching, and institution-wide learning and reflection initiatives.
Collaborate closely with the resident teacher to perform continuous evaluations of student performance. Leverage assessment outcomes to refine instructional materials and delivery methods as needed.
Deliver an extensive selection of resources and materials tailored for children, enabling exploration, manipulation, and utilization in both structured educational activities and spontaneous imaginative play.
Deliver instruction and supervision to students regarding the proper usage and maintenance of equipment and materials, ensuring a safe environment free from injuries and preventable damage.
Design and oversee programs that foster physical, cognitive, and social growth through engaging activities including games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling.
Prepare indoor and outdoor environments, including materials, classrooms, and other spaces, to support safe, engaging activities that foster creativity, learning, and motor skill development.
Monitor and assess each child’s developmental milestones, compiling and submitting detailed written evaluations to the Principal, senior school administrators, and parents.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports tracking and evaluate the children’s progress and developmental milestones.
Instruct students using tailored approaches, both individually and in groups, to accommodate diverse learning needs and interests.
Greet incoming students upon their arrival, assist them with removing outerwear, and engage them in activities that align with their interests to help them acclimate to the school setting.
Enforce behavioral guidelines and implement policies and procedures to ensure a structured and orderly environment for students.
Plan and oversee class projects, field trips, guest visits, and other experiential learning initiatives, while providing students with structured guidance to maximize educational outcomes from these experiences.
Regularly participate in professional gatherings, educational seminars, and teacher training sessions to ensure ongoing professional development and expertise.
Provide support during the boarding and disembarking of passengers from the bus.
ABOUT YOU
A comprehensive set of skills and qualifications is essential for consideration in this role. Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration. Additionally, a minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar position is required. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, is a plus.
Hold an active TSC certification along with a Degree in Education or a P1 Diploma to qualify for consideration.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of one to three years of hands-on teaching experience, demonstrating a proven ability to engage and instruct diverse learners effectively.
