Overseeing and executing key responsibilities that drive operational excellence and team performance is a primary focus of this role. Perform monthly reconciliations of the general ledger, alongside the development of schedules, journal entries, and variance analyses, ensuring strict adherence to established financial reporting standards and guidelines.

Compile monthly financial statements alongside meticulously prepared audit-standard schedules and working paper files, ensuring precise financial reporting, audit preparedness, and adherence to established accounting standards.

Responsible for documenting hospital fixed assets by registering them in the general ledger and assigning asset cards to facilitate efficient tracking and management.

Responsible for the receipt and verification of hospital gases and fuel, coordinating closely with the maintenance department to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Compile fixed asset schedules and verify balances to ensure accuracy for financial statement preparation.

Present information regarding the valuation of fixed assets designated for disposal and ensure the fixed asset register is updated and reconciled accordingly upon disposal.

Depreciate the hospital’s fixed assets monthly in accordance with established financial reporting standards.

Verify the precise physical location and presence of the hospital’s fixed assets to confirm their alignment with the recorded information.

Ensure that contracted personnel conduct inventory counts in the hospital’s pharmacies and generate monthly variance reports.

Conduct periodic random inventory audits and confirm product expiry dates across pharmacies, stores, and other operational departments, subsequently generating detailed reports; assess departmental inventory thresholds by analyzing optimal consumption and reorder points to minimize the risk of excess stock accumulation.

Address internal and external audit inquiries promptly and in strict accordance with established protocols.

From time to time, the supervisor may assign additional duties to the job holder as required.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics is required. Minimum of three years of experience in software development or a related technical role is mandatory. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C++ is essential. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills are crucial for this position. Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum, is preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

A recognized institution must confer a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or another business-related discipline.

Qualifications must include professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) or ARCA, along with demonstrated expertise in accounting.

A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in financial accounting is required, including at least three years in a supervisory capacity.
