Job purpose

Responsibilities include conducting channel visits to enhance retailer awareness and improve SIM and Float turnaround times, while ensuring optimal visibility and merchandising at the point of purchase for SOS and Trash agents.

Oversee a range of critical duties, including the management of daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to organizational standards. Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with long-term business objectives while fostering a collaborative environment that supports team performance and innovation. Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and execute corrective actions to enhance productivity and operational excellence. Serve as a liaison between departments, facilitating seamless communication and coordination to achieve unified goals. Additionally, ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and quality assurance.

SSO & Agent Recruitment & Mapping involves overseeing the identification and recruitment of Agents, with a focus on mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.

Regularly conduct visits to SOS and Agents in accordance with the established route plans (beat plans) to ensure proper coverage and engagement.

We are responsible for equipping SOS and Trash Agents with all necessary transaction tools while ensuring their thorough understanding of operational processes. This role encompasses the provision of essential tools required for seamless transactions at SSO and agent outlets, followed by comprehensive training to enhance their proficiency in executing these processes.

Conduct anti-money laundering (AML) training sessions and evaluate agents’ comprehension of AML protocols, emphasizing their understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures as they pertain to SIM REG compliance.

Monitor and maintain sufficient inventory levels while adhering to the 1.5x stock rule for agents. Additionally, verify that Sales Support Officers (SOS) possess adequate SIM stock to facilitate new registrations and activations seamlessly.

Develop and uphold merchandising standards by ensuring the availability of merchandising materials at SSO and Agent outlets.

A strong academic background combined with relevant professional experience is essential for this role. Candidates should possess a degree in a related field and demonstrate a minimum of [X] years of hands-on experience in [specific industry or function].
