Each day, develop and implement engaging activities for the children that align with the established curriculum, schemes of work, and lesson plans, ensuring they address the social, physical, and emotional development of each child.
Collaborate with the resident teacher to establish a classroom atmosphere that promotes effective learning, aligns with students’ developmental stages and interests, and sustains an orderly and goal-driven educational setting.
Engage proactively in a range of professional development opportunities, such as daily team meetings and reflective sessions, weekly meetings focused on professional growth, instructional coaching, and institution-wide learning and reflection initiatives.
Collaborate closely with the resident teacher to continuously evaluate student progress through ongoing assessments. Leverage assessment data to refine instructional content and delivery methods as needed.
Deliver an array of materials and resources tailored for children to engage with, examine, and utilize across educational activities as well as creative, imaginative play scenarios.
Provide guidance and supervision to students on the proper utilization and maintenance of equipment and materials to mitigate the risk of injuries and prevent damage.
The role involves planning and directing programs aimed at fostering physical, cognitive, and social growth, including activities such as recreational games, creative arts and crafts, music sessions, and storytelling exercises.
Prepare and arrange materials, classrooms, and both indoor and outdoor spaces to support engaging play, educational activities, and the development of motor skills while ensuring a safe environment for all participants.
Monitor each child’s development closely, documenting their progress in detailed written reports for the Principal, other school administrators, and parents.
Track and document children’s developmental milestones and progress through detailed reports.
Instruct students in both individual and group settings, tailoring teaching methodologies to accommodate diverse learning needs and interests.
Greet arriving students warmly and assist them with removing their outerwear while introducing them to engaging activities that align with their interests.
Enforce behavioral guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure a structured and orderly environment for students.
Plan and oversee class projects, field trips, guest lectures, and other experiential learning opportunities, while providing students with guidance to derive meaningful insights from these activities.
You are expected to participate in professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops to enhance and sustain your professional competence.
Provide support with boarding and disembarking passengers from the bus.
