We seek an accomplished and goal-oriented Senior Sales Associate to represent our distinguished client, a premier provider of ICT, ELF (Extra Low Voltage), and integrated technology solutions throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.

The ideal candidate will spearhead sales expansion, cultivate key client partnerships, uncover fresh business prospects, and extend the company’s reach into new regional markets. Requiring a commercially astute professional, this position demands demonstrated expertise in selling ICT equipment, technology solutions, networking infrastructure, security systems, data center solutions, or comparable products and services.

The successful candidate should exhibit extensive regional market knowledge beyond Kenya’s borders, coupled with a proven history of surpassing sales objectives, overseeing pivotal accounts, and negotiating high-value B2B agreements.

Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and operational execution to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Develop and implement comprehensive policies, procedures, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement across all departments. Lead cross-functional teams to foster collaboration, innovation, and accountability while aligning individual goals with broader company vision. Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and mitigate potential risks. Serve as a primary liaison between executive leadership and operational staff, providing transparent communication, data-driven insights, and actionable recommendations to support informed decision-making. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal governance frameworks while maintaining a culture of integrity and ethical conduct.

Proactively source, cultivate, and finalize new business prospects spanning Kenya and adjacent regional markets.

We are responsible for driving sales and fostering client relationships to market and distribute ICT equipment, ELF systems, and advanced technology solutions across diverse sectors, including corporate, government, NGO, education, and commercial markets.

Craft and implement strategic sales initiatives designed to meet and exceed established revenue growth objectives.

Oversee the full spectrum of the sales process, encompassing prospecting, deal closure, and ongoing account management.

Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender responses in a polished and persuasive manner, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational standards.

Cultivate and sustain robust connections with current clients as well as potential new business partners.

Analyze client business requirements and recommend tailored technology solutions that align with their operational objectives and strategic goals.

Visit clients regularly to deliver presentations and conduct product demonstrations.

To maintain outstanding customer satisfaction and foster long-term retention, prioritize delivering exceptional service and building strong client relationships throughout every interaction.

Identify and cultivate business prospects within regional markets spanning East Africa and various Sub-Saharan African nations.

Track industry developments, analyze competitor actions, and evaluate emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Explore untapped market segments and potential avenues for expansion to drive sustained growth.

Develop comprehensive sales forecasts, generate detailed pipeline reports, and compile business development updates to support strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.

Deliver insightful market intelligence and actionable strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making processes.

Contribute to the formulation and execution of sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field, along with a minimum of three years of progressive accounting or financial experience. Strong proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks is essential, and familiarity with ERP systems is preferred. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Candidates should also exhibit a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.

With at least five years of hands-on experience in B2B sales across the ICT, ELF, telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or technology solutions industries, candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and fostering client relationships.

Achieved notable success in selling a diverse range of ICT equipment and technology solutions.

Extensive expertise in managing diverse regional markets beyond Kenya is essential.

Proficiency in ICT infrastructure, networking, security systems, data center solutions, and related technologies is essential.

Proven expertise in crafting compelling proposals, delivering impactful presentations, and conducting effective negotiations is essential.

Proven expertise in commercial strategy with a track record of successfully finalizing high-value transactions.

Demonstrated skill in cultivating and sustaining high-level client connections at the executive tier.

Demonstrates strong expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Open to traveling domestically within Kenya and regionally as needed.
