Role Description
This role is a full-time, on-site position at Jumbo Ruins Monsoon in Mombasa County, Kenya, serving as a Hostess Waitress. The ideal candidate will greet guests warmly, oversee reservation management, escort patrons to their tables, provide informed menu suggestions, and maintain high standards of customer service throughout their visit. Additional responsibilities involve working in close coordination with kitchen and service teams to facilitate seamless food delivery and resolving guest questions or issues with professionalism and efficiency.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with three to five years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is required, along with familiarity with frameworks like Spring or Django. The role demands strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions, conducting thorough testing to ensure reliability, and providing technical support to troubleshoot issues.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities are essential to deliver an outstanding guest experience and efficiently manage inquiries.
Experienced in food and beverage or food service, with proven ability to facilitate smooth interactions between guests and dining staff.
A familiarity with culinary fundamentals is advantageous, enhancing comprehension of menu offerings and enabling the provision of well-informed suggestions to guests.
