The role entails a range of essential duties, including the following:

Each day, design and implement engaging activities tailored to the children’s developmental needs, guided by the established curriculum, schemes of work, and lesson plans to support their social, physical, and emotional growth.

In collaboration with the resident teacher, develop and maintain a classroom atmosphere that fosters effective learning while aligning with students’ developmental stages and interests, ensuring an organized and goal-oriented educational setting.

Engage fully in various avenues for career advancement, such as daily team meetings and debrief sessions, weekly professional development workshops, one-on-one instructional coaching, and institution-wide opportunities for learning and reflection.

Collaborate closely with the resident teacher to continuously evaluate student progress through ongoing assessment. Utilize assessment data to refine instructional content and adapt delivery methods as needed.

Offer a diverse selection of materials and resources for children to engage with, including hands-on learning activities and opportunities for imaginative exploration.

Provide guidance and supervision to students regarding proper handling and maintenance of equipment and materials, ensuring safety protocols are followed to minimize risks of injury or damage.

Design and facilitate engaging programs that foster holistic growth—enhancing physical, cognitive, and interpersonal skills—through interactive activities including games, creative arts, music, and storytelling.

Prepare and organize materials, classrooms, and both indoor and outdoor areas to support engaging play, educational activities, and the development of motor skills while ensuring a safe environment.

Monitor and assess each child’s development, then prepare and submit a comprehensive written report to the Principal, additional school administrators, and parents.

Track and document the children’s developmental milestones and progress through detailed reports to ensure accurate monitoring and assessment.

Deliver personalized and collaborative instruction to students, tailoring educational approaches to accommodate their diverse needs and interests.

Greet children upon arrival, assist them with removing outerwear, and guide them in choosing activities that align with their interests to help them become comfortable in the school environment.

Develop and implement behavioral guidelines, policies, and operational procedures to ensure a structured and orderly environment for students.

Plan, organize, and oversee class projects, field trips, guest lectures, and other experiential learning initiatives, while mentoring students to maximize educational outcomes from these engagements.

Participate in professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops to continuously enhance and uphold professional competence.

Aid in the efficient boarding and disembarking of passengers from the bus, ensuring a smooth and orderly process while prioritizing accessibility and safety for all individuals.

ABOUT YOU

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or accounting. A minimum of three years of experience in financial analysis or a related role is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software is required. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for collaborating with team members and presenting findings. Knowledge of GAAP standards and financial reporting is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

TSC certification along with a degree in Education or a P1 Diploma is required for this position.

With a minimum of one year and up to three years of hands-on teaching experience, candidates will have demonstrated their ability to effectively engage students and deliver educational content. This experience should reflect a solid foundation in instructional methods, classroom management, and student assessment, ensuring a productive learning environment for all participants.
