This internship position is based in Kenya and is designed for a Sales Intern. The successful candidate will assist the sales team by performing a range of duties, such as interacting with clients to assess their requirements and offering tailored product suggestions. Key responsibilities involve contributing to promotional initiatives, mastering and implementing effective sales strategies, facilitating customer interactions to elevate satisfaction levels, and attending training programs focused on enhancing sales and service skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience is required. At least three years of professional experience in software engineering or a related role is necessary. Proficiency in Python or Java is essential, along with familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team are critical. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are expected.
