We are seeking a highly motivated professional who meets the following criteria: a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a related field, a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant discipline, and demonstrated expertise in project management and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, exceptional communication skills, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Familiarity with industry-specific software, adherence to compliance standards, and a commitment to continuous professional development are essential. Responsibilities include overseeing project execution, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
A Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Business or Finance, requiring at least upper second-class honors or its equivalent, is essential.
A recognized professional accounting qualification, such as ARCA, CPA, or CA, would be considered advantageous for this role.
With a minimum of three years of hands-on experience at a distinguished tax service firm, you will have managed complex multinational tax matters, particularly in expatriate taxation. Your expertise should encompass tax calculations for expatriates, adherence to social security regulations, strategic guidance on the implications of international assignments and short-term cross-border relocations, equity compensation taxation, as well as the interplay between international tax, immigration, and expatriate tax compliance.
To be considered, applicants must achieve a minimum overall grade of B in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) examination, including a B in both English and Mathematics.
Proficient in tax and social security regulations, with a comprehensive understanding of applicable legislation and compliance requirements.
Possesses practical expertise in utilizing tax and engaging with the Kenya Revenue Authority.
Skilled in information technology and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
