The Accounts Collection Manager will oversee the process of contacting debtors, issuing formal demand letters, and conducting on-site assessments. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in skip tracing, even when provided with limited details such as an ID, and maintain strict adherence to deadlines. Prior experience in debt collection will be viewed as a significant benefit.

Oversee and execute key duties and responsibilities, ensuring all critical tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with established standards. Maintain accountability for performance by adhering to outlined requirements and delivering consistent, high-quality results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, address challenges, and achieve organizational objectives. Demonstrate proficiency in all specified areas to meet or exceed expectations while fostering a productive and compliant work environment.

Consistently relay account progress and relevant developments to management, offering strategic recommendations for modifications when deemed necessary.

Regularly make outbound calls to debtors and their referees to gather updated information on customer and collateral locations.

Leverage all available internet databases and telephone tools to identify and connect with potential customers.

Professional Rewriting:
The role involves conducting skip tracing for customers and other relevant parties to pinpoint their most recent known addresses, thereby facilitating the location of clients or customers.

Professionally engaging with the client’s customer base, including references, relatives, and associates, through telephone communication.

Ensuring timely payments, the role involves maintaining regular contact with debtors to facilitate prompt settlement of their obligations without unnecessary delays.

The ideal candidate for the debt collection intern position must meet the following minimum qualifications:

A qualification such as a certificate, diploma, or degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is required.

Accomplished negotiation and interpersonal communication abilities, facilitating productive dialogue and fostering mutually beneficial agreements.

Proficiency in debt collection regulations would be highly beneficial.

Strong organizational abilities are essential for this role, enabling efficient management of tasks and priorities.

Highly developed time management abilities and the capacity to multitask efficiently are required for this role.

Professionalism and strong business acumen are essential attributes for this role. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to navigate complex business environments with confidence and strategic insight.
