This six-month internship provides an extensive training program designed to cultivate advanced skills in bid and tender preparation within a technology consulting setting. Interns will collaborate closely with seasoned bid managers to gain practical experience and refine their expertise in this specialized field.
The program aims to provide interns with practical exposure in crafting competitive bids, organizing tender documentation, aiding in proposal development, and gaining insight into complete IT solution delivery frameworks. Upon completion, interns will be fully equipped to assist with full bid cycles and actively contribute to tendering and proposal development efforts for ICT initiatives.
Individuals in this position will operate under the direction of a designated supervisor, receiving assignments and guidance as necessary to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Clear reporting channels will be established to facilitate communication, accountability, and performance evaluation. The role requires adherence to established protocols while maintaining transparency and responsiveness to managerial feedback.
The position operates under the direct supervision of the assigned Bid/Tender Manager, who will serve as both supervisor and mentor to the intern throughout the duration of the program.
Duration
This internship is designed to last for a duration of six months.
During the initial three months, interns will receive rigorous training in bid preparation, proposal writing, and compliance with tender requirements and documentation standards. Continuous evaluations will be conducted to assess their grasp of bid processes and the development of effective proposals.
For the final three months, you will actively participate in live tenders and proposal projects, working closely with the Bid Manager to gain hands-on experience.
High-performing interns may be offered permanent roles at Green Com, such as positions in Bid & Tender Assistance or Pre-Sales Support.

Assist in the compilation of tender documents, proposals, pre-qualification submissions, and related supporting materials.
Work closely with bid managers, project teams, and associate consultants to compile comprehensive technical, financial, and administrative data essential for tender submissions.
Attend all pre-bid meetings and evaluations associated with the tendering process, proposal development, and compliance documentation preparation.
Deliver all bid submissions in full compliance with client requirements and tender specifications, ensuring absolute accuracy and completeness.
Provide assistance in creating technical and financial schedules under the guidance of senior team members.
Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Green Com’s business solutions, offerings, and key value propositions to effectively contribute to proposal development.
Contribute to in-house innovation initiatives focused on enhancing the effectiveness and standard of the bidding process.
Deliver any supplementary assignments related to ongoing tender and pre-sales processes as required.
